Eugène Delacroix's still life with lobster
Exposed in the Louvre, the "Still Life with Lobsters", painted by Delacroix in 1827 for the Marquis de Coëtlosquet, never tires of intriguing visitors. Incongruous in appearance, this cohabitation between elements from the sea, the air and the earth also intrigues Patrick Jeffroy.
