Joséphine appears in the middle of a medieval show in Provins. Her client is Anne Maleval, the costume designer. The guardian angel soon realizes that Anne's life is entirely devoted to the well-being of her widowed father Gaston, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Joséphine also meets a neighbor, 12-year-old Mathis, who hasn't spoken for three months. His father Cyril doesn't know what to do.
