Sam is devastated by a confrontation in Kinsky’s dressing room in which she abuses Sam’s weaknesses. She has to take hold of herself quickly because the Racing Club is now tangled in a new scandal. The club was raided by the police in the aftermath of the Fodé affair and is now threatened with a buyout to avoid bankruptcy. Fodé is openly supported by Kenza Chelbi, and reluctantly adopts a political and activist stance that is too much him. Kinsky is still organizing fiery debates and drops another bomb: the legalization of citizens openly carrying firearms so that “upstanding white boys” can stand their ground. Although on first sight the proposition is unfeasible, Sam foresees a slippery slope that can make the radical idea socially acceptable. Because in this context of social unrest, everything is possible...
