During a class on the solar system, Zak makes his classmates laugh with a book on aliens. When the teacher, Mrs Woods, choses to punish the class by giving them a surprise exam, Zak is outraged. Thus, he and Jason decide to steal the failed tests and replace them with new ones with the right answers.

The Barbapapas build an igloo in the North Pole. The next morning the igloo is surrounded by polar bears. They are sculptures in ice Barbabeau made except for one which is real and angry too! Everybody runs back inside, except for the absent-minded Lolita. When they notice her disappearance, the Barbapapas rush out but nothing can be seen in the snow storm.

The Barbapapas travel in a wagon toward California. The Barbababies find a gold nugget in the river but they start fighting to own it.

The Barbapapas spot vultures hovering slowly around a wounded bison. The Barbapapas come to help him. They fix his leg and call his herd. The herd run toward the Barbapapas. The Bison are stampeding ! Barbapapa transforms into a balloon and carries the family in the air preventing them from being crushed.

The barbababies are playing “Indians” in the American great plains Barbabeau meets a skunk which sprays on him. It smell like hell ! He needs a shower but the rain dance of Barbabright doesn’t work. Maybe He should be shaved ? Certainly not ! Barbabeau prefers to stay by himself. Later Barbabeau is soaked by the pouring rain and a tornado carries him in front of the family camp.

After dinner the Barbapapa climb up into their tree-house. They sleep at Giraffe’s head height and they meet some during the night ! The next morning they try to film the Giraffe but they encounter a lot of difficulties. A giraffe stands near the crater. Her baby fell down and it’s too steep to go down. The Barbapapas take her baby back to her.

The Barbababies have to run away from the angry mother of the two cute baby rhinos they were playing with! They meet some gnus. Two of them are fighting with one another but they forget their brutal competition when the Barbapapas offer them sugar canes. A baby gnu has lost his mother. How to find her in the gigantic herd ? The Barbapapas try everything, in vain.

The Barbapapa family is having a picnic in the savannah. A sable antelope joins them. Barbazoo tell his brothers and sisters a story he heard about a sable antelope which got away from lions by charging them instead of running away. Barbabravo and Barbazoo are racing with the zebras, unaware that a lion is chasing them. Transforming into elephants, Barbapapa and Barbamama keep the lion from attacking their child.

Barbabravo is going on the kayak with Lolita. On one iceberg, he notices a pile of giant sausages with teeth and whiskers ! One of them gives a juggling demonstration, using the kayak as a ball. In an impressive final, It sends Barbabravo directly back to his camp. When he declares having been attacked by giant sausages Barbazoo understands that his brother met walruses.

Barbamama is preparing a pumpkin pie for Halloween. The boys decide to disguise and to scare the girls without any success. Barbapapa and Barbamama leave the house too. Lolita will guard the cooling pie. Suddenly, a Glutton breaks into the house ! Lolita can’t prevent him from eating the pie and almost everything it could find. The Glutton finishes in bed with an indigestion. The Barbapapas eat the two pies left in oven and the glutton goes on a diet !

The Barbapapas reach the pacific ocean. They dive in the sea. Barbabravo laughs at Barbalib who confused the floating seaweed with a giant octopus attacking her. They all play with the otters they met. For dinner Barbamama makes roasted weeds. Barbabravo eat a lot and has to go for a digestive walk on the beach. He’s attacked by the phantom of the weed and he prays for mercy.

The Barbapapa Family observe the birds coming and nesting around the Scandinavian Lake. They decide to go picnic on a little Island but the island is in fact a beaver hut which collapses under their weight. The beaver family is very unhappy. The Barbapapas decide to help them re-building their hut.

The Barbapapa Family spend the summer in a house in Scandinavia. They go swimming in the nearby Lake. Lolita wants to dive like Barbabravo but she jumps too far and falls on the head of a moose. The moose decide it’s fun playing tennis using Lolita as a ball. Barbapapa comes to save her. At the other end of the Lake a baby moose is sinking in the mud. The Barbapapas come to help and finally everybody is safe.

The Barbababies meet a lesser Panda and a Takin. Theses two animal’s beautiful fleeces plunge Barbabelle into an evil fantasy. Wouldn’t she look real nice in a fur coat? She plans to capture a Takin during the night. But she gets caught in her own trap. Hearing her crying for help, her family come to free her. Barbabelle is very ashamed of her bad behavior and cries.

The Barbapapas built a bamboo observatory to study the pandas. But there is none to be seen. Some of the observers get bored and start fooling around. Barbazoo finally spot a panda far away. He Follows it in the bamboo forest. In a clearing he can film a baby panda playing with its mother. Now Barbazoo wants to come back but he’s lost!

The Barbapapas ride a boat down the Amazon River. They stop on a shore to install their camp and explore the Forest.

Walking the forest, the barbababies meets some cheerful monkeys. The Family build a tree house to observe the various species living at the top of the trees. Lolita thinks she can swing on the vines like the rest of the family but she falls down and bounces on a Barba-trampoline. The monkeys applause this new acrobatic demonstration.

There is a lot to be seen in the Amazon Forest. Giant trees, sloth, armadillo, serpents, crocodile, Jaguar, piranhas. But Lolita doesn’t see anything. In fact, she’s so absent-minded she falls into a swamp and is rapidly surrounded by various ferocious animals. Happily the Barbapapa family is here to save her.
