A charming young woman, Isabelle, shares her life with her boyfriend Pierre and is as in love as one can be. But, when he proposes, she hesitates. She is reminded of her family's curse: all of their first marriages always end up in divorce. In hopes of staying by Pierre's side for the rest of her life, Isabelle comes up with a perfect plan. She will first marry a stranger and divorce him, thus making it her first marriage. And after the curse has been fulfilled, she will enjoy her second marriage with Pierre.
