Jo Cavalier was one of the most heroic pilots of the new aviation during the Great War. As he later became the trainer of the French boxing team, he led it to the Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936. During a journey on a train, a 10-year-old Jewish boy, Simon, recognizes him. Enchanted by his hero, the boy starts following him everywhere, When Jo discovers that Simon's family is facing persecution by the Gestapo, he decides to help.
