Along Came Love

1947. On a beach in Normandy, Madeleine, a waitress in a hotel restaurant and mother of a little boy, meets François, a rich and cultured student. Their relationship ensues as a matter of course. True providence. While we know what she hopes to leave behind by following this young man, over time we discover what François seeks to escape by intertwining Madeleine's fate with his own.
