As Martine has run into her old friend, who by chance had became a big television star, she invites him to a dinner party in hopes of reconnecting. For both her and her husband Jacques, it is very important that the evening goes perfectly. However, this does not happen due to the fact that some of the guests are terribly late, and others do not behave as the hosts would preferer them to.
