Bruno is a young unemployed man who can no longer bear the boredom of his monotonous days. He decides to put his existence in the spotlight, hoping to impress his distant girlfriend, Juliette. Taken with a sudden flow of inspiration, he hijacks a school bus and takes hostage ten children, the teacher and the bus driver. As the eyes of the world are on him, Bruno goes from aggressiveness to a form of confidence, which soon earns him the sympathies of his victims .
