Lucas, a failed singer of the 1990s, became famous ten years later, after he had found a notebook containing some brilliant songs written by his estranged friend, Thomas. When Thomas reappears, Lucas is keen on hiding his fortune and fame from him. He makes a mistake of asking his friend Francis, a failed actor, for help.
