Sibylle is a divorced single mother, estranged from her son Sam. Determined to make a connection, she takes him to a horseback riding trip to Kirghizistan. Without a computer and a bathroom, Sam, already a bad tempered young man, gets even grumpier. He does not miss an opportunity to provoke Sybille. Determined to make amends with him, she takes all "the hits" with patience. Apart from this, the journey takes a dangerous turn as they come across a dangerous swamp.
