Mischka, an old man, is forgotten by his family on the side of a highway. While walking, he arrives at a hospice where he is helped by the handyman, Gégène, a big-hearted depressive with a penchant for drinking. Together, they "borrow" a friend's car and begin an adventure made of improbable and touching encounters, leading to the birth of a real family.
