The whirlwind of the Christmas season, with its rejoicing and its anxieties. Everyone plays along. It's Christmas... time to celebrate... Merry Christmas! Joyeux Noël! For three sisters, for those they love, have loved, or hope to love, it's a time for taking stock of the past, present and future. As everyone confronts the fateful evening with enthusiasm, aggravation or indifference, long-hidden secrets pop out of the stuffed capons or from Santa's bag. The Christmas decorations have come out of the dark closets where they're stored, but so have all the old hurts. Then a death shakes up everything. New problems arise, seemingly trivial. But they'll deeply affect the fate of Louba and her sisters.
