The Slap

Since his separation with his wife, Jean, a professor in his forties, lives alone with Isabelle, his eighteen year old. The intense passionate young woman is at odds with everything: work, boys, relatives and money. She even gets the better of her father in their shouting bouts. Then one day, he slaps her; and that unforgettable slap triggers off a family comedy brimming with unexpected developments.
